Baby Knitwear · Sweden
Wholesale Baby Knitwear in Sweden — Direct from Turkish Manufacturers
Swedish baby knitwear demand is built around layering for a long cold season and around materials parents trust next to skin. Fine-micron merino blended with cotton solves both — warmth without the prickle of coarser wool — and Turkish knitwear producers run it at 14 gauge with hand-linked finishing. Road freight to Stockholm and Malmö runs seven to ten days, duty-free under the customs union.
Market angle
Merino blends for next-to-skin layering
Coarse wool gets rejected by Swedish parents fast. We use fine-micron merino blended with cotton for baby knitwear, and can supply the fibre micron specification alongside the OEKO-TEX certificate for retail claims.

Questions
Frequently asked
Are your GOTS certificates traceable?+
Yes. We supply the mill's own GOTS scope certificate and the transaction certificate for your specific order, so the chain is verifiable rather than a generic claim from a trading company.
Why is the organic MOQ higher?+
Organic cotton is dyed and knitted in dedicated lots to avoid contamination with conventional fibre, so the minimum economic run is 100 pieces per style per colour instead of 50.
Why is the knitwear MOQ higher than jersey?+
Yarn is dyed in lots before knitting, so the minimum economic run is 100 pieces per style per colour rather than the 50 we accept on jersey products.
What gauges do you produce?+
7 gauge for chunkier winter pieces, 12 and 14 gauge for fine baby knitwear, on both flat-bed and computerised Shima Seiki machines.
Can you develop a custom jacquard pattern?+
Yes. Development takes five to eight days for the first swatch; the cost is absorbed into orders above 1,000 pieces.
